Food: Tim Ho Wan

Happiness when I found this sun-bathing man in one of the store. I need to get more tea leaf, no more sachet. Whee~~~

Now, I am going to post more food blogs. Since I am in Hong Kong, will start posting more Hong Kong food.

My first post is Tim Ho Wan, Hong Kong. It is like a must for tourist. Here we go.

I went to the latest branch in Olympian City. It is bigger than the one in IFC, much easier to get seats.

The placemat shows all their branches and address and their more popular dishes I think.

This is their menu. Not so many choices, make the decision making easier.

This is their signature dish. Crispy Roast Pork (Char Siew) Bun. It is a bit on the sweet side, and since this is their signature, it is a must to order.

This is my favourite dish there. Steamed Lotus Leaf Glutinous rice.

Prawn Zhu Chang Fen. Not bad. The prawn is crunchy and fresh.

Some Teo Chew steam kuah. Not really my cup of tea.

Siew Mai. One thing about the siew mai here, it is more about prawn than pork. If you like prawn, go for it.

In order for us to feel less sinful at eating at 9pm, we order this bland tasting vegetable. Actually, I don't mind eating this.

The total bill adds up to roughly SGD22. This is more on the cheaper side. Hong Kong food is pretty expensive. You won't get a bowl of noodle for SGD3.50. Dinner usually end up more than SGD15 unless you buy those buns and sushi take-out. Oh yah, there is this really good sushi take-out nearby. Will introduce that another time. I have a few other places in mind to introduce. =)
