After a visit to Rome, I am drowning myself with information regarding Roman History. Yes, me! History is not my cup of tea. I was more a Geography person, and if you know me since my secondary school life, you will know that I chose Geography over History (Not that I am good with Geography either). And Mr-know-it-all (aka Mr Chong) commented I really don't know anything, do I. Maybe I am really thirsty for more information
or i am seriously irritated by Mr Chong's word, i drown myself with information.
Before the trip, I only heard of Vatican City, Colosseum and etc. Those popular places of interest and i only know the name. It never occur to me that one day I will be interested in their history as well. Guess who was the first person I google when I am back in Singapore.
King Hadrian! And why, you might asked. Because the king had a
BOYFRIEND. One of the tour guide briefly mention that one king had a boyfriend when we saw the statue of the boyfriend. I actually went all out to find out whose the king. Some things never die. Even when drowning, i am drowning with gossips about them as well.
My next target for research is
Alexander the Great. Ehem, you should know why.
